- Officiated the 1998 NBA All-Star Game as well as the 1994 Japan Opening Games in Yokohama.
- Four years of CBA officiating experience from 1983-86.
- Eleven years of high school basketball officiating experience in New Jersey from 1972-1982.
- Member of Shore District Board #194 (covering the New Jersey Shore) of the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials.
- Obtained B.S. in Criminology and worked for New Jersey State Police (held long Team Undercover Operation from 1973-75, code named "Project Alpha", and hostage recovery coordinator from 1982-86.
- Testified before Congress in 1981 during hearings on Organized Crime led by Senator Sam Nunn.
- Received Meritorious Service Award in 1977 (the highest New Jersey State Police honor awarded), the New Jersey 200 Club Valor Award in 1978, and the New Jersey Bankers' Law Enforcement Valor Award in 1980.
